Year 7 Volleyball Tournament

The HPE department would like to congratulate the students who represented Sirius College in the Year 7 Boys Volleyball Tournament on Tuesday the 5th of March. The team performed excellent all day finishing runners up in the Woodlands Division Tournament.

Our boys won their first 3 matches quite easily and had a lot of confidence going into the final fixture against the also undefeated Hume Secondary College. The winner of the final game would be through to the regionals next term. The pressure and tension was rife throughout the heated battle. This epic encounter went the distance, with our boys just falling short by the closest of margins. A very unfortunate net cord was the difference between victory and defeat and it ultimately went the way of Hume Secondary College.

The boys represented the college in the best possible manner with consistent good behaviour and sportsmanship; even in the face of heartbreaking defeat.
